This report forecasts to 2028 US liquid applied roof coating demand in squares. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: acrylic; asphalt; silicone; urethane; blended; and other products such as polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), polyurea, and butyl rubber. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: new residential, residential reroofing, new commercial, and commercial reroofing.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2013 to 2023; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2013, 2018, and 2023.
Excluded from the scope of the report are: bituminous compounds, such as mopping asphalt, used in the installation of bituminous roofing materials; compounds used as joint sealants, adhesives, mastics, or other materials used to facilitate the installation of primary roofing materials; and prefabricated components used in the construction of a site-built home (such as a roof truss or a structural insulated panel), along with the additional work required at the jobsite to complete the residence.
Due to independent rounding, the total in area terms for some products and markets may not match the sum of the segments.
Key macroeconomic indicators are also provided with quantified trends. Other various topics, including profiles of pertinent leading companies, are covered in this report. A full outline of report items by page is available in the Table of Contents.
