This report forecasts to 2028 US commercial roofing demand in squares (one square equals 100 square feet). Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: plastic single-ply roofing; metal roofing; bituminous roofing; asphalt shingles; rubber roofing; roofing tile; wood shakes and shingles; and small volume roofing products such as spray polyurethane foam, composite, slate, liquid-applied roof coatings, tensioned fabric, vegetative, and solar.

Total demand is also segmented by application as follows: reroofing and new.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2013 to 2023; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2013, 2018, and 2023.
