Behind-the-Wall Plumbing: United States

This report forecasts to 2025 US behind-the-wall plumbing product demand and shipments in nominal US dollars at the manufacturer level. Total demand is segmented by product in terms of: pipe, fittings, valves, and fire sprinklers. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: commercial buildings and residential buildings. Finally, total demand is segmented by application as follows: fire suppression; general water distribution; drain, waste, and vent systems; and radiant flooring.

To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2010 to 2020; shipments and the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2010, 2015, and 2020.

Excluded from the scope of this report are pipes and fittings visible to the user of a kitchen or bathroom, as well as products used outside of a structure (such as water and sewer mains). Pipe and fittings in a basement or crawlspace are included in the scope of this report, even if they are visible and not technically "behind-the-wall". Sprinkler heads, while also visible, are also included in the scope of this report.
