Architectural Paint: Canada
This report forecasts to 2024 architectural paint demand in metric tons in Canada. Total demand is segmented by formulation in terms of: water-based and solvent-based. Total demand is also segmented by market as follows: residential remodel and repaint, new residential, and nonresidential.
To illustrate historical trends, total demand is provided in annual series from 2009 to 2019; the various segments are reported at five-year intervals for 2009, 2014, and 2019.
This report analyzes the Canadian market for architectural paint. For the purposes of this report, ""architectural paint"" refers to interior and exterior paint products used in building construction markets, including water- and solvent-based paints, primers, stains, and sealers. White washes and distempers, factory-applied coatings, industrial maintenance coatings, and products used to maintain infrastructure are excluded from the scope. Also excluded are paint thinners, solvents, plasters, and adhesives and sealants.
