Vending in India
Vending sales in non-captive locations continue to be negligible in India. Most sales take place in closed environments, such as airports, offices and educational institutions, which are not counted in Euromonitor International vending figures. It should also be noted that vending machines in India are sometimes accompanied by a helper, who takes the money from the customer and operates the machine.
