Retailing in Colombia

The first months of 2021 saw the gradual reopening for retail stores, but a stay-at-home order remained in effect, while there were also capacity restrictions in place for retail outlets. In May all restrictions were lifted, and retail outlets were able to conduct business almost as normal. The COVID-19 pandemic has been an opportunity for change in retailing, changes that would have otherwise been made gradually.
