Sodium hypophosphite (NaPO2H2, also known as sodium phosphinate) is the sodium salt of hypophosphorous acid and is often encountered as the monohydrate, NaPO2H2·H2O. It is a solid at room temperature, appearing as odorless white crystals. It is soluble in water, and easily absorbs moisture from the air.
Main Applications:
a. Chemical plating by chemical plating surface with corrosion resistant, uniform thick, Ni-P alloy coating firmly, can replace the stainless steel material, widely used in electronics, machinery, petroleum, chemical, aerospace, marine, food and pharmaceutical industries.
b. Plastic, ceramic, glass, quartz and other non-metallic materials surface metallization.
c. Water treatment, preparation of various industrial preservatives and oil field inhibitor.
d. Food, industrial boiler water additives.
e. It can be used as chemical reaction catalyst, stabilizer.
f. It can be used as antioxidant, anti bleaching agent, dispersant, textile finishing and pharmaceutical industries.
